A "Path of the Parks" that crosses the main Italian parks, with a "passport" which attests the stages made, as in the Camino de Santiago. This is the idea that the Ministry of the Environment is working on together with the Italian Alpine Club. This was revealed this morning by the minister, Sergio Costa (M5S), during a forum on Facebook on World Biodiversity Day.
"We are defining a memorandum of understanding with the CAI, which is present throughout Italy with 320,000 volunteers - explained Costa -. The Alpine Club helps us imagine a Path of Parks on all the paths of national parks. It will be an initiative that will allow citizens to enjoy nature through ecotourism. There will be a "passport of the parks", by the Ministry of the Environment, and at the end of the path there will be recognition. It is an initiative that slightly imitates the Way of Santiago ".
