Total chaos on the date to hold the next regional ones: controversy between the majority and the opposition, but an open clash also within the center-right and sensational positions of the axis Luca Zaia and Michele Emiliano eager to go to vote already in July. While the executive insists that his goal is to reach a more shared solution, the House's Constitutional Affairs Commission is working on mediation in favor of September 20, first round, October 4 second. A solution advanced by Federico Fornaro, group leader of Leu, and married by the blue Paolo Sisto. In this way, one would still fall into a season with mild temperatures, and there would be a way to carry out an election campaign in a more usual period. The other forces reserved the right to pronounce. A date on which however weighs an unknown factor: the Jewish holiday Hannukkah, also known as the Festival of lights or Festival of lights, falls on the 20th. But the vote extended to Monday could overcome this obstacle.

Very hard, however, in rejecting this timing the President of Veneto and that of Puglia. The first, relying on the success with which his administration is stopping the infection, pushes to go to the polls in early summer, as soon as possible after the expected reopening of full mobility. "Not voting in July - attacks the Northern League governor - is a suspension of democracy, it is the truth". Even the dem Michele Emiliano bites the brake, even going so far as to appeal to Colle: "The only thing they are not reactivating - he says in the Republic - is democracy and I do not understand the reason since the Constitution does not provide for the suspension of the elections. We should vote in July and not move the date to the autumn, running the risk of having worse epidemiological data. I think it is appropriate to intervene from the President of the Republic, guardian of the Constitution ".

Strongly contrary to the July solution, however, Forza Italia. According to the local authority coordinator, Maurizio Gasparri, it is not possible to vote as suggested by the government on September 13, let alone before. "You can't present lists between late July and mid-August, killing the election campaign and relegating it to a few days in early September," he notes. Center-right divided therefore not only on when to vote but on who to apply, especially in Puglia and Campania: according to the agreements made months by the three leaders the first region is up to Fratelli d'Italia and therefore to Raffaele Fitto, the second to blue Stefano Caldoro . Against these two names, defined several times inadequate to beat the center-left, the League takes sides, which for example in Puglia has already launched its own candidacy, that of Nuccio Altieri. Hypothesis stopped in the bud by Fratelli d'Italia: "We have no intention - charati Ignazio La Russa - to change what has already been decided by the three leaders", as if to say Fitto does not touch. Even on the Campania front, despite the scouting of Salvini's party for an alternative candidate, Forza Italia has repeatedly made it known that that in favor of Caldoro is for them the game of life.
