The Government confirmed 718 new positive cases of coronavirus this Friday, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 10,649. In addition, 17 deaths were reported on the day, bringing the list of deaths from the pandemic to 433.
The daily case report again showed that the City of Buenos Aires and the Greater Buenos Aires are the most affected areas, with 404 and 266 new cases, respectively.
The AMBA represents more than 93% of new cases this Friday . The City of Buenos Aires is the most affected by the virus with 4,606 confirmed cases, while the province has 3,575.
The new data was released after the government decided to reinforce traffic controls between the city and the suburbs, among other measures to try to control the spread of the virus in the most affected areas of the country.
