Another novelty for Twitter that launches the Fleet test in Italy, a function similar to the Stories of Facebook and Instagram. Fleets disappear within 24 hours and there is no possibility to retweet them, like them or to reply publicly. To create a Fleet, just touch your profile picture, you can also add photos, videos or Gifs to the texts.
The new function will be available for everyone in Italy in the updated versions of the applications for iOS and Android that will be released in the coming days.
"We are curious to find out how Italians will use Fleets, because in our preliminary research we have found that people feel more encouraged to share their thoughts with this function, precisely because it allows you to do it temporarily", explained Mo Aladham, Twitter Product Manager.
Yesterday the microblog announced a new function, under test, against cyberbullying. It will allow users to limit the reception of unpleasant messages, deciding who can reply to their tweets.
