(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, MAY 30 - The United States has reported 1,225 new coronavirus deaths in 24 hours, according to the Johns Hopkins University daily count.
    This brings the total number of deaths in the country to over 102,000, by far the most affected by the pandemic. Since Covid-19's first death announced in late February, the US has recorded more than 1.7 million cases. Experts, including immunologist Anthony Fauci, a White House adviser, nevertheless agree that these official reports are underestimated.
