Led Zeppelin: the legendary last concert of the group available free online

Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones share their final live performance on YouTube. An anthology show recorded in London in 2007 and available until Tuesday on the platform.


Want a whole lotta love? It was December 10, 2007. Led Zeppelin fans had received quite a dose of love. And rock! For the first time since 1988, members of the quartet came together for an exceptional concert at the O2 Arena in London. Founders Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones were joined by the son of deceased drummer John Bonham.

An anthology performance that the members of Led Zeppelin have decided to put on free access on YouTube this weekend. A recording made public on Saturday at 9 p.m. on the following link available for three days only. The opportunity to rediscover sixteen pieces from the repertoire of the legendary group, entered the Pantheon of hard-rock: Stairway to Heaven , Dazed and Confused , Kashmir and, of course, Whole Lotta Love .

After the death of John "Bonzo" Bonham, in September 1980, guitarist Jimmy Page, singer Robert Plant and bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones had vowed never to meet, yielding only on two occasions (with Phil Collins on drums in 1985 for the famous Live Aid and with Jason Bonham in 1988 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their label).

At the announcement of "Celebration Day", organized in honor of Ahmet Ertegün, founder of Atlantic Records, nearly 2 million people had rushed out of the approximately 20,000 available places. The concert gave rise to a film, screened at the cinema in 2012, and to a disc, awarded with the Grammy Award for the best rock album in 2014.
