Free all, but only under certain conditions. Tracking of tourists, checks with termoscanner, reservations and questionnaires. But there are also those who, in a playful spot, offer dinner to foreigners. Italy with the 'open lock', still divided between those who swing for a faster economic recovery and those for the slow caution of health, remains a puzzle for the many tourists or simple citizens who will move between the regions. With the new step, starting from June 3, the self-certification will certainly disappear, but in general the prohibitions of gatherings, of removing the mask in the closed places accessible to the public and on the means of transport will remain. There is also the obligation of social distancing and quarantine for those with respiratory infections with fever or body temperature above 37.5 degrees. A maximum of one thousand people can attend the outdoor shows, 200 in the indoor halls.
For the rest, everything changes and in different ways. The State Railways themselves are preparing to resume travel across the country: 80 Arrows, 48 Intercity trains and 4653 regional routes in circulation. But stations and stopovers remain under special surveillance: first of all Termini and the airports of Rome, where body temperatures will be detected. In addition, contact tracing will be enhanced in Lazio while suspected cases will be directed to drive-ins for possible tests, but the Lazio Region also hopes for "national tracking". From the precautions of the Capital to hi-tech monitoring in Trinacria: from 5 June the 'Safe Sicily' app will be active for those arriving in the region and will be optional, allowing those arriving on the Island to be assisted by the medical staff of the Unit tourist healthcare, established in each of the nine provinces. Here too there are controls with thermal scanners in the main points of articulation. Precautions also in the second largest island: to go to Sardinia it will be enough to make a reservation, but the Region is still pressing with the government to be able to introduce the request for a 'health passport', or a certificate of negativity resulting from an accredited test by the state. Alternatively, the governor could set up registration on an online platform and fill in a questionnaire to find out where to concentrate the main controls. The governor of Puglia has instead made an explicit request to anyone who should enter the regional territory, as a tourist or returning to his region, to report his presence and keep track of contacts.
In Campania a careful increase in checks and rapid tests is announced, but checks are also planned at the stations of Salerno and Naples - where the mayor invokes swabs for those arriving from outside the region - in ports, at the airport and at the toll booths, with particular attention to those coming from Lombardy, Piedmont and Liguria. The Campania capital, in particular, will have to align with restrictions across the region: the Tar suspended the ordinance under which, the premises could administer drinks and food, including takeaway, until midnight (and not until 10 pm ). In Piedmont the line is the national one, but it will be mandatory to wear the mask also outdoors near the shopping centers, for example in the related parking lots.
There are also regions that look beyond, preparing for more freedoms: in Veneto, where the 'Covid Hospitals' are closing these days, the guidelines on theaters, discos, cinemas, casinos and game rooms are already ready. of the convocation of the government. And there is the Calabrian governor who, between irony and enthusiasm, announces the opening with convivial incentives: "Calabria is open to everyone and those who come are offered a dinner".
