Every school in which the corona virus patient was identified - will close, the government has decided on Monday, given the increase in the number of hospital diagnoses in the education system. In addition, the Ministry of Education emphasized that if the school is being studied in separate buildings and complexes, only partial closure will be considered.
Yesterday, another 13 patients were added to the education system. The number of preschool and kindergarten children was 155 today. In addition, 39 teaching staff and staff were diagnosed with the virus. 130 of all sick students are high school students, and most of them are from the Hebrew Gymnasium in the capital. Nine patients were diagnosed in kindergartens and 16 elementary schools were diagnosed.

Remember, today a teacher at the Beit Yaakov Elementary School in Ashdod was diagnosed with someone who was infected with the Corona virus. As a result, the municipality ordered the school to be closed, and all students and staff were sent for isolation. The educational institution will remain closed until Wednesday, and medical officials will conduct tests to find the virus.
Earlier, two schools in Hadera and Givat Ze'ev were closed. At the multidisciplinary school in Hadera, 2,180 students and staff were sent to isolation after it was discovered that a seventh-grader was infected with a virus. In Givat Ze'ev, one of the school staff was diagnosed with the Corona virus, and the leadership of the community ordered the institution closed until June 10.
The Ministry of Education guidance comes a few days after a chain of infestations at the Hebrew Gymnasium High School in Jerusalem, which led to a re-evaluation of the government. We note that 74% of all sick students and 35% of all staff infected with the virus were diagnosed in the Hebrew Gymnasium.
In the meantime, a general health fund has today opened test complexes to sample students and staff at educational institutions where the corona virus has been infected. The HMO currently operates over 60 test complexes across the country.
