(ANSA) - MOSCOW, JUNE 1 - Putin has set the national vote for July 1 to give legitimacy to a new constitutional reform which, effectively canceling the limit of two consecutive mandates for him, could allow him to remain President of Russia until 2036. Putin instead he rejected the possibility of voting on June 24, the day of the military parade for the 75th anniversary of the Soviet victory in the Second World War. The vote was originally scheduled for April 22 but was then postponed to a later date due to the coronavirus emergency.
