The beginning of the story goes back to ten days, in the Deputy Police Station 82 in Las Perlas. There, the Chief of Police, who had recently traveled to Roca, tested positive. Immediately, the guard who had shared the place with him was isolated and it turned out that two of those policemen had contracted COVID-19.

However, the odyssey for them did not end with the result: after a brief hospitalization at the Model Polyclinic, they were isolated at the Cipolletti NCO School, where they affirm that the minimum health conditions are not met.

When they were transferred to the building on the corner of Fernández Oro and Saénz Peña, the officers encountered a member of the Motorcyclists' Brigade, who contracted the virus when he went to Deputy Police Station 82 to fix a quadricycle.

"They locked us up and threw us here like dogs. This was a school where they put some mattresses and they pretend that we live like this . They are not taking care of us, or our families," they said in the LMNeuquén newspaper .

These are the first "patients" of the Cipolletti NCO School, which had been prepared in March to receive in the future those people with coronaviruses who did not need medical assistance but who should be isolated. However, until the police arrived, no one had needed her in the city. What they say is that there is no fixed healthcare and they complain that they only receive a daily phone call for monitoring.

"Two of us arrived on Friday and there was already a partner from Thursday. We do not have heating, hot water, or showers. The bathrooms have all the windows broken and are not clean. They only bring us lunch and dinner, the same as it is delivered to the hospital patients, "they explained, while they said that before the interview they had received a mash and a half steak each. " There is no breakfast or snack, and they gave us half a strip of paracetamol in case we have a fever . That is all the care and protection they offered us," they added.

The main concern is heating when the harsh Patagonian winter approaches: “While we were at the Polyclinic,” they explained, “they took good care of us, we were cared for. I don't understand why they sent us here if we all have social work. Here, if something happens to us, if someone gets complicated, nobody knows . We are patients with a virus that nobody knows how it will affect our health and we must have constant medical attention. "
