For many "Valorant" fans, Riot Games has had good news recently. The developers have surprisingly announced the release of the full version - now the time has come.

"Valorant *" is now free to play for everyone . Many probably expected a later release, since Riot previously spoke about releasing the shooter in the summer. From now on, everyone can jump into the tactical battles at "Valorant". The beta phase ended on May 28 at 6 p.m. * and the game was then taken offline for a few days . With the official starting signal, some new content has also been added to "Valorant".
"Valorant": The innovations in version 1.0
The launch of " Valorant " has several innovations to offer, including a new agent named Reyna - a duelist with vampiric skills. The "Ascent" map and the " Spike Rush " game mode also come into play. The latter is a fresh and hectic variant of "Valorant", but the game mode is still in beta at first.
" Ascent " is a card that is located in Italy. It has a large, open center around which the two teams can fight each other. Control over it enables new attack routes to the spike areas. "Ascent" will appear more often as a map in the first few days so that players can get to know it.
The ranked mode was deactivated at the official start of "Valorant", because the server stability should only be ensured first. Especially at the start, a large number of players can be expected, since not everyone could play in the beta phase.
There are also some adjustments for the agents . While Sage and Raze have been toned down in some ways, there are improvements for Jett and Phoenix. In addition, the developers have largely adapted Omen and Viper.
There is also a small update for the Split playing card. The bottleneck in the middle of the map was restructured because the defenders often simply entrenched themselves at this point. With the new layout, this should no longer happen as often.

The Tactic Shooter is a Free2Play game . This means that the title can be downloaded and played completely free of charge. In the in-game shop, cosmetic items can be bought for real money - such as new designs for weapons.
A Riot account is required to play. This can be created free of charge. The registration works by entering and confirming the email address. " Valorant " can then be downloaded and installed.
