Roberto Gervaso, journalist and writer, has died

After a long illness, the journalist and writer Roberto Gervaso, author among other things of famous popular volumes on the history of Italy signed with Indro Montanelli, died today in Milan. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - ROME, JUNE 02 - Journalist and writer Roberto Gervaso, the author of famous popular books on Italian history signed with Indro Montanelli, died after a long illness in Milan. He died in hospital at the age of 82: he was born in Rome on July 9, 1937. He leaves his wife Vittorio and his daughter Veronica, a journalist for Tg5.
   "You were the greatest, most cultured and ironic writer I have ever known. And I was lucky enough to be your daughter.
   I am sure you will tell your splendid aphorisms also up there. I will always carry you with me. Goodbye". With this post on Twitter Vittoria Gervaso, a Tg5 journalist, recalled ilpadre Roberto.
    The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella sent his wife and daughter of Roberto Gervaso his condolences for the disappearance of "a man of the finest culture, protagonist, for long years, of journalism and vitacultural of our country". (HANDLE).
