Ndrangheta: operation in Trentino

(ANSA) - BOLZANO, JUNE 9 - An extensive anti-mafia operation of the Trento State Police has been underway since last night with the use of about 200 men, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate, directed to a local 'ndrangheta, from years operating in Bolzano, enactment, albeit autonomous, of the Italian editor-in-chief of Delianuova, in the province of Reggio Calabria. Among the 20 arrested there are also exponents of other Ndranghetist "families" belonging to the Ionian and Tyrrhenian mandates of Calabria.
    Searches and arrests are also underway in the province of Reggio Calabria, Padua and Treviso. The details of the operation will be disclosed during a press conference which will take place at 11 am at the Prosecutor of the Republic of Trento which will be attended by the Prosecutor of the Republic of Trento, the Central Anti-Crime Director and the Director of the Operational Central Service.
