"365 DNI" dealing with control relationships has already reached the top of the list of watched films, but not everything is pink • "This is Stockholm Syndrome" and "romanticization for harassment" are just some of the criticisms against him

  • "No woman wants to be forced to fall in love." "365 DNI"

It may be the heat of June or the excess of handkerchiefs left over from the Corona days, but to top Netflix's watchable films in Israel, the erotic thriller "365 DNI" has sprung up that makes "Fifty Shades of Gray" look like a friends video at a wedding.

The film, which originates from the global erotic capital of Poland, is the cinematic adaptation of the book of the same name written by Polish author Bianca Lipinska, and tells the story of Laura, a beautiful young woman who lives the glamorous life expected of a hotel sales manager in Warsaw. To break down her dreary routine chains, she takes off with her vacation boyfriend in Sicily. Sadly, she is abducted by Massimo, the head of the local mafia, who has just one glance to see that she doesn't really intend to run her travel insurance.

Shortly after Laura is kidnapped, the metaphorical routine chains turn into real ones, and the screen is washed in scenes of sex in a variety of locations, ranging from gentle sex and caressing on Masimo's very large yacht to control games with accessories that even in the UK would find difficult to obtain. And in the US, the erotic thriller has become the list of most viewed content.

• This is the most watched series on Netflix

• Shocking: Documentary Holocaust in the Netflix horror movie category

Despite the enthusiastic reactions, it is important to note that there are quite a few reviews as well, and many surfers are furious that the film, they claim, is glorifying. For example, one surfer tweeted "Please remember that there is a huge difference between fantasy and reality, and no woman wants to be kidnapped and forced to fall in love." Another surfer added, "It is true that the film has a fiery lead actor, but the plot is screwed. It romanticizes harassment and it is not infatuation, but Stockholm syndrome."

In the meantime, despite the noise on social networks and perhaps thanks to it, initial explorations for the development of a sequel are currently underway.
