The international model Bar Refaeli reached an agreement with the Israel Prosecutor's Office, after being accused of tax evasion by hiding part of her earnings from the Treasury.
In this way, the 35-year-old celebrity will avoid stepping in jail and must serve his sentence in freedom, with nine months of community work.
However, for that to happen, Refaeli's mother, who is also one of the defendants, agreed to go to prison for one year and four months.
Tzipi Refaeli , 65, was for years her daughter's agent, and both had admitted guilt over tax crimes, including a forgery of the model's tax residence.

In addition to the respective convictions, both must pay fines amounting to more than US $ 7 million for unpaid taxes.

This Tuesday, the supermodel reached an agreement accepting in exchange the nine months of community work, while her mother will serve a sentence of 16 months in prison.

"The State Attorney General's Office recently filed an indictment with the Tel Aviv Court of First Instance as part of a plea agreement against Tzipi and Bar Rafaeli," the Justice Ministry spokeswoman said in a statement.
This agreement will materialize with the holding of a hearing in which the conditions will be presented before a judge in Tel Aviv, the sentences will be formalized and the agreement will be reached, the spokeswoman added.
