Coronavirus: in 24 hours 79 victims and 283 more infected

 67.8% of cases in Lombardy. Five Regions and the province of Bolzano at zero (ANSA)


The daily data of coronavirus infections in Italy is stable . The total number of infected people is 235,561, with an increase compared to yesterday of 283 cases, when there was a growth of 280. The figure currently includes positives, victims and recovered. In Lombardy there are 192 more new ones infected, while yesterday the increase had been 194 cases, equal to 67.8% of today's increase in Italy. From the Civil Protection data it emerges that the province of Bolzano and 5 regions - Marche, Puglia, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Valle d'Aosta and Calabria - have no new cases.

There are 32,872 coronavirus patients in Italy, 1,858 less than yesterday, when the drop had been 532. There are 263 patients admitted to intensive care in Italy, 20 less than yesterday. Of these, 96 are in Lombardy, 11 less than yesterday. There are 4,581 patients hospitalized with symptoms, with a drop of 148 compared to yesterday, while those in home isolation drop to 28,028, with a drop of 1,690 compared to yesterday.

There are 79 coronavirus victims in the last 24 hours in Italy , an increase compared to 65 yesterday. In Lombardy on the last day 15 were registered, while yesterday they were 32.

The total deaths are 34,043 . In the increase in victims, it should be considered that Abruzzo reported 32 deaths occurred in previous periods, while the daily increase is only one death. From the Civil Protection data it emerges that there are 10 regions without victims: Campania, Trentino Alto Adige, Sicily, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Umbria, Sardinia, Valle d'Aosta, Calabria, Molise and Basilicata.

The healed and the discharged rose to 168,646 , with an increase compared to yesterday of 2,062. The increase had been 747 on Monday. 

THE DATA IN LOMBARDIA - With 9,848 swabs carried out, 192 new positive coronaviruses were registered in Lombardy (therefore 1.9%). To date, the total number of infected people in the region is therefore 90,581. The number of deaths is 15, which rises to 16,317 in total.

With 11 beds less occupied than yesterday, 96 hospitalized patients in intensive care in Lombardy fell . "Today's data shows that we have fallen below 100 in ICU beds and the number of people recovered continues to increase. It is good news that must push us to look to the future with confidence, without ever lowering our guard", commented the president of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana. Non-ICU patients also fall, which are 2,660, 48 less than yesterday.
