The Ministry of Health of the Nation confirmed another 24 deaths and 1,141 new cases of coronavirus in the country, in the last 24 hours. Thus, for the first time , the barrier of a thousand infections is overcome in one day.
In total, 717 fatalities and 24,761 positives are registered.
In the morning report on Tuesday, the ministry had reported on five deceased : an 88-year-old woman from the province of Buenos Aires; and four men (one 62, from the City of Buenos Aires; one 88 from the Province; and two 82 and 56 years old, from Chaco.
Later 19 other deaths were added: nine men (six of 68, 49, 73, 72, 29 and 77 years, residing in the province of Buenos Aires; three of 55, 35 and 84), and ten women (five of 78 , 71, 82, 99 and 79 years of Province; four of 76, 88, 61 and 95 from CABA, and one of 82 years, from Río Negro).
Of the total cases reported in the morning, 4.2% are imported, 41.6% close contacts of confirmed cases, 37.8% of community circulation and the rest are under epidemiological investigation.
49.6% correspond to women, while 50.4% are infected men. The main age groups affected by the registered cases correspond to people between 20 and 59 years of age, the average age being 36 years.
While the World Health Organization says and contradicts something key, such as whether or not asymptomatic patients spread, in the City dozens of runners took to the streets on the first day of permission to play sports in the parks.
For this reason, there will be no going back, but there will be new measures to order and avoid risks of contagion , since CABA has established that they will have new guidelines to carry out their activity outdoors. The most important thing will be that between 19:30 and 22:00 vehicular traffic will be restricted around the main parks.
