Public broadcasting will not be spared from the coronavirus crisis. Following a board meeting held on Thursday morning, France Télévisions has already warned that its accounts would be in the red in 2020, a first in five years. Last year, the group had achieved a balanced operating profit (0.1 million euros), on a total budget of around 3 billion euros.
The public group, at this stage, indicates in a press release that its forecast operating loss will be established in 2020 at 37 million euros.
