A group of residents of Villa Madero cut off both hands on the Riccheri highway on Thursday morning to claim security in their neighborhood, after a neighbor was shot while fumigating in the area.
The incident occurred in Barrio 2 de Abril, where a man was doing volunteer fumigation work when an inter-gang shooting occurred. At that moment, a bullet wounded him, so he was rushed to the Piñero Hospital, where he remains hospitalized.
During Wednesday night, the same group of people gathered at the Riccheri to demand more security.
