Bikenomist, a Milanese consulting, training and communication company on cycling mobility launches "Bike to Business": the first integrated service to help Italian companies become bike friendly places for those who choose to reach their workplace by bicycle every day.

Bicycles are the fastest means of transport for urban journeys under 8 km and 76.7% of Italians travel on average less than 10 km, one out of three makes shifts of less than 2 km.

To encourage workers to use the bicycle, as well as cycle paths, there are also bike friendly environments, that is, places equipped to leave the bike safely and dedicated policies for those who ride every day. Among the actions proposed in the "Bike to Business" formula we find: design and installation of bike parking and micro mobility, design and construction of infrastructures, services and facilities for those who travel by bike, business training from cycling to itineraries for employees, from choice from bicycle to cycle mechanics, internal communication, external communication support, supply of bikes and e-bikes.

Bikenomist has created the e-book "Bike to business", a short guide to improving the efficiency of company mobility, which can be downloaded free of charge from the website www.bikenomist.com.
