(ANSA) - ISTANBUL, JUNE 12 - The Turkish Coast Guard has assisted migrants in the Aegean Sea in the past 42 hours, which according to Ankara have been rejected by the Greek authorities towards Turkey, from which they left. The intervention took place following an alarm signal off the coast of Foca, in the province of Izmir, south of Lesvos. The migrants, who were on board a rubber boat in precarious conditions, were brought back to the mainland in Turkey.
