"We confirm that the negotiations" between the EU and the United Kingdom on future relations "will be intensified" and will take place every "two to three weeks". (HANDLE)

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, JUNE 12 - "We confirm that the negotiations" between the EU and the United Kingdom on future relations "will be intensified" and will take place every "two-three weeks". So a spokesman for the European Commission, underlining that the Community Executive will continue with its transparent policy to update the European Parliament and the Member States on developments.
Compared to the meeting of the Presidents of the European Institutions, Ursula von der Leyen, Charles Michel and David Sassoli, with the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, the European Commission highlights that this is a meeting already codified in the Political Declaration and therefore it is an "already planned" passage, which will "take stock" of the negotiations.
