(ANSA) - ROME, JUNE 12 - In 2018 the companies that claimed to have drawn up financial statements and / or environmental reports and unsustainability were less than 4%, but the share reaches 30.8% among large companies. This is what emerges from the Sustainability report just released by Istat. The assessment of environmental sustainability initiatives is instead carried out by 13% of companies (almost 50% in large companies). The Report highlights how in recent years there has been increased sensitivity towards these issues by companies and in 2018 seven out of 10 companies had sustainable behaviors with 712 thousand companies (68.9% of companies with 3 and more employees) who declare they are engaged in actions aimed at improve the working well-being of your staff; 688 thousand (66.6%) who carry out actions to reduce the environmental impact of their activities; 670 thousand (64.8%) which have been activated to improve the level of safety within their company or in the area in which they operate.
