Rap, Latin, pop… What will be the hits of this summer?

2020-06-12T16:09:58.280Z

Kendji Girac, Amir or Vianney on the one hand, Hatik, Jul or Tryo on the other… Unless you prefer Lady Gaga, Harry Styles or Black Eyed Pea

How will we dance? A meter away? Squeezed tight ? And where will we dance? In a disco, on a campsite, with family, with friends? The only certainty is that we will dance this summer. Because containment robbed us of spring. Because we need more than ever to share, to laugh, to love, to let go, to live. And ... because music (and its industry) never stops.

The hits will be sunnier than ever this summer, as confirmed by the new titles by Kendji Girac (the single solar "Habibi"), Amir ("the Feast", hymn to oriental trends), Hatik ("Angela", cover of the 1999 title of Saïan Supa Crew) and rappers who dominate French sales. Starting with the multirecidivist Marseillais from the Jul tube , who plays on three tables, with Heuss L'Enfoiré on the duo "Moulaga", solo with "Sousou" and "Folie", his self-punctual replay of "Nuit de folie"; or Soolking and his duo with Dadju, "Melegim".

We will sing in chorus on "N'attattons pas" by Vianney , the funny "We had said" of the new darling rap, the trio 47Ter, and the gossip "Sorry for last night" by Tryo , which the group has brought to taste containment with a boost from YouTube stars McFly and Carlito. And we will dress in Magenta , from the name of the new project of the former members of the Fauve group, who spin dark ideas and faceted balls with "Long Feu" and "Tom Tom Club".

Summer will be hot in T-shirts in swimsuits with the very vintage, funky and sexy "Say So" by Doja Cat , boosted by the dance app Tik-Tok, and "Tusa", the new hit by Nicki Minaj in duet with Karol G. The Latin wave continues to surge with the return to business of the Black Eyed Peas and their "Mamacita" entirely built on the sample of "La Isla Bonita" by Madonna or the most attractive and impactful "TKN" bringing together the two rising stars, the Barcelona flamenco Rosalia and the American rapper Travis Scott.

On the other side of the Atlantic, this summer also marks the big comeback on the track of Lady Gaga , who has just released an album cut for gyms and an unstoppable duo, "Rain On Me", with the much requested Ariana Grande. But the competition is strong with the gifted Dua Lipa and her bodybuilder "Physical" and the brilliant Harry Styles and her sensual "Watermelon Sugar". Not to mention The Weeknd , whose irresistible "Blinding Lights" has already lit our winter but has not stopped making us dance.
