Postponed to July 17 next year because of the health crisis, the second edition of Rockin'1000 is in preparation at the Stade de Fran

These enthusiasts had for the first time electrified the Stade de France last year and brought together an audience of more than 50,000 worshipers of saturated guitars, very solid bass, square drums and punchy voices. The biggest amateur rock group in the world had offered powerful covers of songs from Nirvana, AC / DC, and Stooges, without forgetting "Allumer the fire", in homage to Johnny.

On July 21, 2021, the Rockin'1000 will be back in the temple of legendary matches and grandiose shows in Saint-Denis. Originally scheduled for a few days on July 4, the event was postponed for a year due to the health crisis. "Those who had taken their tickets for the 2020 edition can therefore keep them for the appointment," reassures Frédéric Souplet, the producer of this giant concert and the deputy director of the Stade de France.

MC Maneuver

Philippe Maneuvre, who brilliantly assumed the role of master of ceremonies and participated in the selection of instrumentalists and the composition of the repertoire, does not hide his happiness and his excitement. "It's going to be an even more incredible party than last year," exults the journalist, a reference in rock'n'roll and sponsor of the 2019 edition.

And for good reason: keyboards are entering "this national rock festival". "And there will be many more young girls and women," says Frédéric Souplet, who would like to ensure real parity. Because, well represented in the category of voices, they were so far less numerous to ring their bass and their batteries. The team of musicians is complete, since their recruitment in February from 5,000 applications.

What will we hear during this show? "We are going to celebrate all the greatest," enthuses Philippe Maneuver. Are currently registered on the set-list composed of 20 pieces of tubes of Led Zeppelin, Kinks, Pixies, Bowie ... The organizers have also contacted shoe sizes from around the world to accompany "the 1000". Including Nono Krief, guitarist of Trust, for a colorful version of the famous "Antisocial", who was the only guest of the first performance.
