(ANSA) - ROME, JUNE 13 - Moments of tension between right-wing extremists and police in London where British nationalists had met for a demonstration "in defense of our monuments". The BBC reports it. The other planned protest in the British capital, that of the Black Lives Matter movement, which in recent days had also seen episodes of violence against some figures in the United Kingdom, had been canceled by the organizers to avoid clashes with extremist right groups. Among the demonstrators today also Paul Golding, leader of BritainFirst, and groups of football fans from all over the country. Some gathered in front of the Winston Churchurch statue in Parliament Square, others in front of the Cenotaph.
