(ANSA) - NEW YORK, JUNE 14 - "There are five areas" that Italy should face and "I think it will do it efficiently". It concerns: "reducing bureaucracy in the public administration; efficiency in investments; tax reform and their collection for a more inclusive and equitable recovery: loosening of rules to improve competition: regional disparities". This was stated by the director of the IMF, Kristalina Georgieva, to the States General on the basis of the speech published. "These challenges are well known and this moment should be taken as an opportunity to face them and move forward."
The number one of the IMF also paid his compliments to Italy for the management of the emergency: "Bravo to Italy! You were the first to aggressively protect the population - and in doing so you also protected the long-term success of the economy". (HANDLE).
