Vanessa Bryant and her daughter Natalia decided to change the privacy of her Instagram account and block the Kobe Bryant and Gigi fan accounts.

Just over 4 months ago, Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna lost their lives in an unfortunate helicopter accident with 7 other people. Back then, Vanessa Bryant , widow of the Lakers legend, kept her Instagram account private for a few days.

However, he made it public again to be in contact with his fans and keep them up to date with the tributes of Kobe and Gianna that were performed later.

Sometimes, the mother of four often shares details of her private life on her social profile, such as the recent tattoo that was made in honor of her husband and daughter. In the same way, Vanessa shares adorable videos of her girls, Capri , 11 months old, Bianka , 3 years old, and Natalia , 17.

Yesterday, Vanessa Bryant and her oldest daughter decided to distance themselves from the memories of Kobe and Gianna's hard loss, so they blocked the fan pages on Instagram and changed their account settings to private.

Through their Instagram stories, both mother and daughter explained the reasons for their decision, and assured that they did not want to see the content of Kobe Bryant on social networks, a fact that made it harder to cope with the loss.

"Thank you so much for all the love. Natalia Bryant and I unfortunately had to block the fan pages because it is really difficult to connect and constantly see photos of our beloved Gigi and Kobe in every frame of our search pages," Vanessa wrote.

"Blocking the fan pages has helped change the algorithm. We love you all, but understand that we had to do this for our own healing process, not because we don't appreciate their love," he said.

Natalia echoed the sentiment and wrote on her social profile, "Thank you so much for all the love and support. Many of you may have noticed the recent change to a private account. My mother and I have had to block fan pages because they keep posting. our pictures".

"This makes our loss 10 times more difficult to deal with. We hope people understand that while these fan pages are well-intentioned, they make moving forward more difficult as they are constant reminders," he explained.

The excessive photos of Kobe and Gigi affected Vanessa and Natalia, as they constantly remembered the death of their loved ones.

"Blocking the accounts has helped change the algorithm, but we cannot continue our public account until the fan pages stop. We love all of your sweet intentions and we hope you understand. Always, Natalia," Kobe Bryant's oldest daughter.

It was in April that Vanessa claimed that Kobe and Gigi's death "was pointless." Vanessa remembered her late husband and 13-year-old little daughter in an emotional post to mark Mamba Day, which honored Kobe's last NBA game with the Lakers before retiring in 2016.

On that occasion, Vanessa expressed, "I wish I could go back to that morning, every day," she said, referring to the day of the accident. "I wish they had a normal local game on 1/26. Life really isn't fair. This doesn't make sense, "he concluded with great pain.
