To celebrate the reopening of cinemas, authorized from Monday June 22, the Parisian establishment will offer a screening from 0 a.m.


Three months of waiting, and not a lost second! On June 22 at midnight and one minute, the Parisian cinema Les 5 Caumartin will welcome its first spectators since March 14. It is the new feature film “Les Parfums” which will open the ball, in the presence of its director Grégory Magne, of its actor Grégory Montel (who plays one of the agents in the series “Dix pour cent”), and may -being of its actress Emmanuelle Devos.

This delicate comedy will be screened in one or more halls of the establishment, located in the 9th arrondissement, depending on the number of spectators ... And of course in compliance with the health guide now imposed on operators, who will all be able to- there, finally, to welcome customers: the size of each room cannot exceed 50%, and an armchair must be left on each side of each spectator or group of spectators.

The session will cost exceptionally 4.90 euros

“We have been impatient for three months,” explains Louis Merle, operator of the 5 Caumartins. We just wanted to celebrate the reopening of cinemas. With his brother (the cinema has been run by their family for four generations), Louis Merle had the idea of ​​this night reopening this weekend. The duo then chose "Les Parfums" for this very special screening, "because it is a French film that we loved and which corresponds very well to our arthouse public", specifies Louis Merle. According to the boss of the room, in the minutes following the publication of the announcement of this session on the Facebook page of the 5 Caumartins, a dozen reservations were recorded. "Since mid-March, as soon as our gate is open, loyal spectators come to ask us when the cinema reopens," says Louis Merle.

The session of 12:01 will cost exceptionally 4.90 euros for all spectators. A price launched by Les 5 Caumartin for those under 27 on this occasion. Like Le Lincoln and Les 7 Parnassiens, which belong to the same group, the establishment located 101, rue Saint-Lazare, will also set up from June 22 a special rate for caregivers at 7.50 euros. "These initiatives prove the dynamism and creativity of exhibitors," applauds Richard Patry, the boss of the National Federation of French Cinemas.
