(ANSA) - MONZA, JUNE 19 - A lawyer from Usmate Velate (Monza) was sentenced at first instance by the Court of Monza to four years of imprisonment and interdiction from the profession for five years, on charges of judicial stalking against a Brianza businessman. Apparently, it is the first sentence in Italy for this crime.
According to the investigations coordinated by the Monza manager MichelaVersini, the lawyer has filed more than 200 epenal civil cases against his former client since, in 2011, he decided to terminate their collaboration, in fact starting to upset his life and that of his family. "With the systematic and instrumental recourse to incessant and unfounded judicial actions", reads the indictment, the lawyer "harassed the aforementioned, forcing them to change their life habits and exposing them to procedural costs and serious repercussions on the professional image level and personal. "
