Trusters, the Italian real estate crowdfunding platform aims to raise € 1 million with a capital increase aimed at "strong growth" of the platform. This was announced by the founder of Trusters, Andrea Maffi, convinced that "crowdfunding also in Italy will have the same impact it has already had in other countries not too far away".
Capital raising will start on June 25 on ClubDealOnline, an exclusive private crowdfunding platform, authorized by Consob and dedicated exclusively to high net worth individuals, family offices and institutional investors.
Innovative start-up active since 2018, Trusters is the first 100% made in Italy lending crowdfunding platform in Italy in the real estate sector and today has more than 3,000 registered users on the portal. In two years the innovative platform, which sees the blockchain among its strengths, has raised over 5 million euros, for a total of 51 projects funded and has repaid 13 projects. "The time has come to open up to the market", explains Maffi, who also looks at the listing on Piazza Affari: "the stock market has always been a target that we always think of with greater interest. It is a path that we are analyzing". Maffi then points out that "the brick remains a safe haven for many investors and a valid asset class which, unlike other forms of investment, presents greater stability and has withstood the huge shock wave of the pandemic without undergoing large fluctuations world". Trusters also "held up well by continuing to record a growth trend despite the difficult period".
For ClubDealOnline president Roberto Ferrari, "the strong push towards digitization and the use of online tools represents one of the very few positive sides of the situation we are experiencing in recent months. This digitization will lead us, increasingly, to review our purchasing and investment habits, and the strength of online platforms is to make these processes extremely streamlined and efficient. For this reason, we have decided to promote Trusters' capital raising on our portal, convinced that the collaborations between the different realities are going used and incentivized ". Consequently, "we believe that the offer addressed primarily to members of the Trusters and ClubDealOnline communities and then to investors interested in diversifying their investments is the right way to use these synergies and will complete a complementary offer".
