Starting this Wednesday, public passenger transport began to be used exclusively by essential workers empowered for this new stage of quarantine that seeks to control the number of coronavirus infections in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA). However, there were those who wanted to enter the City of Buenos Aires aboard buses, trains or subways without the Unique Certificate of Enabling Circulation and with unusual excuses .

From the early hours of the morning, with checkpoints at different points of the city and operations at the main accesses of Cabildo Avenue, Rivadavia Avenue and San Martín Avenue at its junction with General Paz, the City Police, the Traffic agents and Prevention carried out control of permits in the different bus lines.

In their task  they encountered many "non-essential" passengers who decided to use public transport despite current regulations and excused themselves when they arrived at the police control.

From the unusual case of the young man who was trying to get to the Mataderos market to buy meat and who admitted having "made a mistake" when using public transport.

"They are notifying you now and the next time you are going to be violated and if they catch you again by bus, we will have to consult the prosecution to see why you are traveling by bus when you cannot," the police officer tells the young man. .

A man who, angry at not being able to continue traveling and faced with the refusal of the agents, threatened to call his father "Inspector Commissioner".

There were also those who were essential workers but due to ignorance they had downloaded the permit on Sunday, and on Monday it was no longer valid, so they had to fill out the form again to be able to circulate without problems.

The excuses were repeated throughout the day and despite knowing the current regulations, everyone tried to "get away" with expired permits or with the argument of not having downloaded the APP Cuid.AR.

In all cases, passengers had to get off the bus and continue their journey back home, until they had a permit to enable them to circulate.

In this new quarantine with more restrictions, which runs from Wednesday to July 17, the National Government set in Article 6 of Decree 297/2020 24 activities that are exempt from compliance with "social, preventive and mandatory isolation ”And of the prohibition to circulate . For this it is necessary to process the new circulation permit.
