A new report from the National Information and Knowledge Center reveals alarming data

According to a special report from the Corona National Information and Knowledge Campaign published Friday, which focused on Jerusalem's morbidity data, there is an upward trend mainly in ultra-Orthodox and East Jerusalem neighborhoods.

In the past week, 487 new patients were diagnosed in the city, and as of this writing, there are 991 active patients - a ratio of 10 patients per 10,000 residents. The average positive test rate was 5%, but there was a decrease in the number of tests performed last week when only 8,977 were performed. It also shows that 32% of patients are in the 0-19 age range, 35% are between 20-39, 21 are 40-59 and 12% are 60 or older.

In the ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods, the positive test rate was 17%, and the morbidity ratio is 4 times that of the rest of the city. The proportion of patients in all neighborhoods in the city is 37% (364 active patients). In East Jerusalem, there are 148 patients, which constitute 15% of all new patients. It also shows that out of the 160 new patients diagnosed in the past day, 114 are residents of these neighborhoods.

In light of the morbidity data, the authors of the report recommend focusing on advocacy and enforcement efforts in the neighborhoods in question, as well as enforcing the isolation and conduct of public spaces, and patients and solitary confinement should be considered to reduce and prevent contagion among family members.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health data released this morning revealed that 24,491 corona tests performed over the past day were diagnosed with 1,107 new patients. The number of active patients in Israel currently stands at 9,618 and the total number of people who die is 325.

So far, 27,542 Israelis have been infected in Corona. Among the hospitalized patients in the country, there are 27 registered patients. Seventy of them are in serious condition, and 67 are in moderate condition. So far, 17,599 people have recovered from the virus.
