(ANSA) - MOSCOW, JULY 03 - The Russian economy could have cost over 5 billion dollars the two extra non-working days introduced by the authorities for the paratamilitary victory and for the vote on the constitutional reform that could keep Putin in the Kremlin until 2036: they support him some analysts questioned by MoscowTimes.
Vladimir Putin chose June 24 as the day to celebrate 75 years of the end of the second world war this year and to carry out the now traditional maxi parade on the Red Square which could not be held on May 9, Victory Day, due to the epidemic by Covid-19. Also the first of July in Russia was a non-working day because it was the last of the seven days to vote for the plebiscite for the constitutional reform which, among other things, could allow Putin to get around the limit of two consecutive mandates from head of state and to apply also to the presidential elections of 2024 and 2030.
