Miss France 2020 is doing well after her building burned down on the night of Friday to this Saturday. Clémence Botino, 23, lives in 10 rue de Ternes, the Parisian address where the Miss France live in the year of their reign and which experienced a fire in the middle of the night.
The toll of this incident is dramatic since an elderly person died. A dozen other occupants were injured, two seriously and ten more slightly.

Regarding Clémence Botino, she "is doing very well," said Sylvie Tellier, the patron of the Miss France committee. In a story, an ephemeral video, on Instagram, she explains that "she is safe and sound". But "obviously she is shocked". Sylvie Tellier also welcomes the intervention of the firefighters, who, "arrived very quickly, were able to put many people in safety".
When contacted by Closer, she stated that the fire did not originate in Clémence Botino's home. Miss France 2020 found her apartment in the capital after the confinement linked to the Covid-19 pandemic. In mid-March, she was on vacation in Guadeloupe.
