Coronavirus in Argentina: confirmed a new record with 52 deaths in the last 24 hours

2,845 new cases were reported and the total number of positives is 72,786. The number of infected in Buenos Aires jumped again with force.

The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported this Friday that in the last 24 hours there were 52 deaths of people with coronavirus and 2,845 new cases were registered.

Thus, the total of the deceased amounted to 1,437 while that of the infected became 72,786.

"34 new deaths were registered: 16 men, 7 of 87, 64, 30, 82, 51, 80 and 83 years, residing in the province of Buenos Aires; 7 of 66, 85, 72, 73, 84, 71 and 76 years, residents in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA); one of 66 years, resident in the province of Chaco; one of 67 years, resident in the province of Santa Fé; and 18 women, 10 of 87, 70, 91, 82, 90, 73, 82, 90, 67 and 49 years old, residents of the province of Buenos Aires; 7 of 55, 70, 98, 70, 90, 92 and 85 years old, residents of the City of Buenos Aires (CABA) and a 91-year-old resident in the province of Chaco ",

In this morning's report, the health authorities reported the deaths of 18 people since Friday: "10 men, five of 54, 59, 79, 75 and 60 years, residing in the province of Buenos Aires; five of 77, 86 , 95, 91 and 89 years old, residents of the City of Buenos Aires (CABA); and 8 women, four of 64, 67, 57 and 67 years old, residents of the province of Buenos Aires; three of 88, 78 and 79 years old , residents in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA), and a 74-year-old resident in the province of Chaco, "they detailed. 

In that report it was also indicated that, to date, "the total number of discharges is 25,224 people" and that on Friday "9,323 new samples were made".

"Since the beginning of the outbreak, 381,431 diagnostic tests were carried out for this disease, which is equivalent to 8,405.9 samples per million inhabitants," they added.

From the Health portfolio they highlighted that "the number of cases discarded until Friday is 245,852 (per laboratory and per clinical / epidemiological criteria)" and reiterated that "the main age groups affected by the registered cases correspond to people between 20 and 59 years, the average age being 36 years. "
