Coronavirus in Argentina: 26 deaths and 2,439 new cases reported in the last 24 hours

On the 107th day after the beginning of the quarantine, the Ministry of Health of the Nation indicated that in the last 24 hours there were 26 deaths and 2,439 new cases of coronavirus in Argentina. 

In the report issued this morning, 9 new deaths were recorded. They are 6 men, four residents in the province of Buenos Aires; one in the City of Buenos Aires and one in the province of Neuquén. Also 3 women, two from the province of Buenos Aires and one from Neuquén.

During Saturday, 9,072 new samples were made and since the start of the outbreak, 399,454 diagnostic tests were carried out for this disease, which is equivalent to 8,803.1 samples per million inhabitants.

So far, the places with the most confirmed cases of coronavirus in Argentina are the Province of Buenos Aires, Capital Federal, Chaco, Río Negro, Córdoba and Santa Fe.

In recent days record numbers of cases have been recorded in the country, however experts assure that the peak of the pandemic in Argentina has not yet been reached.

In recent days, some European countries began to relax their activities and generate greater economic activity, after months of confinement due to the coronavirus. While in Argentina the 15th week is spent in quarantine with more controls and limitation of driving permits.
