(ANSA) - MILAN, JULY 5 - Some outbreaks of Covid have occurred in recent days in an area of the Mantovano.
The last concerned a sausage factory in Viadana and so at least there are five production activities in which the contagion has developed (also considering one in nearby Donolo), between slaughterhouses and sausage factories, which have a total of 68 positive employees. The latest report from the ATS Valpadana arrives from the Fratelli Montagnini sausage factory in Viadana, where the hierarchy Usca teams (Special Unity of Continuity of Assistance) intervened to swab 26 employees, after one of them had been hospitalized with fever. The outcome of the screening made it possible to discover 5 positives, including 3 employees of a cooperative working in the sausage factory. The ATS arranged yesterday for the closure of the slaughterhouse and sanitation is awaited today. There are 68 workers (not all resident in the Mantua area) infected by 5macelli, two of whom hospitalized, in conditions that would not be serious.
