Corona outbreak in a nursing home in Ramla with 22 people: The management of the place accuses the results of the corona tests did not arrive - and in the meantime an outbreak occurred.

Five days have passed since all the residents of nursing homes and staff members of the Neot Relax nursing home in Ramla were sampled, but so far, the results of the nursing home have not been provided. Meanwhile, nursing home residents with fever symptoms were evacuated to hospitals, where rapid tests were diagnosed as positive for Corona.

In recent days, the Corona nursing home repeatedly contacted Corona's health ministry, the physician and the district geriatrician to expedite the results of the tests, but the results did not arrive. .

The nursing home is attacking the conduct of the national examination system, saying that if the results of the tests had been faster, a better medical response could have been given to those residents who had been diagnosed as positive to Corona.

"We pleaded repeatedly, several times a day, via watsaps, emails, phone calls to every possible cause - but we were left unanswered," the nursing home says. "It is quite possible that if the results of the tests were delivered quickly and on time, the extent of the outbreak in the nursing home would have been much smaller."

At present, the number of people infected is 22 residents, scattered between Tel Hashomer's hospitals, Assaf Harofe, Assuta Ashdod and Neot Ha-Moshava geriatric hospitals and Tiberias.
