(ANSA) - TEHERAN, JUL 8 - The number of Covid-19 cases in Iran has risen to 248,379, with 2,691 infections recorded in the last 24 hours. There are 153 victims in one day, after yesterday's record 200 deaths, for a total of 12,084 confirmed deaths. ICU patients grow to 3,309, while patients recovered become 209,463. The tests carried out so far are 1,872,391. The spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari, reported in his daily bulletin, explaining that 9 provinces are currently classified as "red", that is, high-risk areas, and that another 10 are "on alert" for an increase in the number of patients, including Tehran.
