(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 8 - Benedict XVI wrote a message for the funeral of his brother Georg. The Pope Emeritus thanks God for being able to greet him one last time. "He did not ask for my visit but I felt it was time to go back to him.
   I am deeply grateful for this inner sign that the Lord gave me. When I said goodbye to him on Monday 22 June, we knew it would be a goodbye to this world forever.
   But we also knew that the good God who gave us this union reigns in this world also in the other world and will give us a new stay together ", reads the message published by the diocese of Regensburg where the funeral followed instreaming took place by the Pope emeritus who remained in the Vatican.
