Scooby-Doo turns 50 and returns as a puppy

(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 13 - A Scooby-Doo puppy and alreadycombinaguai who runs away on the streets of Venice, Los Angeles beach district, chased by a policeman doing acrobat on a roll of pressed meat just 'stolen' in a Greek restaurant. This is how the most famous Great Dane of the animated world appears in the reboot of his adventures in Scooby! by TonyCervone, which arrives in a digital preview from 15 July, available with Warner Bros for the premium purchase on AmazonPrime Video, Apple TV, Youtube, Google Play, TIMvision, Chili, Rakuten TV, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Film & TV and for rental premium on Sky Primafila and Infinity.
    The film arrives a few months after the celebrations for the 50th birthday of Scooby-Doo: the first series Hanna - Barbera, created by Joe Ruby, Ken Spears and Iwao Takamoto, to whom the graphic ideation of the cartoon was developped, in fact made its debut on Cbsil September 13, 1969. In this animated Cgi film version Cervone, starts from the beginning of the friendship between the children Scooby and Shaggy and tells how the two join the budding investigators Fred, Velma and Daphne to form the group of Mystery Inc. Once they grow up they will find their most personal and dangerous mission to live, linked to the ancient nobles of the great dane. They will be the protagonists together with Mystery Inc, the crazy super villain Dick Dastardly the superhero Blue Falcon and the dog Dynomutt (whom we know as 'prodigy dog') already stars of other Hanna - Barbera series. The historic voice, Frank Welker, returns to Scooby-Doo in the original version; with him, among others, Zac Efron (Fred), Will Forte (Shaggy), Mark Wahlberg (Blue Falcon), GinaRodriguez (Velma), Amanda Seyfried (Daphne). The film "is epic and there is the most important mystery that the characters have ever solved - says the director -. But the spectators will be even more surprised by how much heart there are in the film. Scooby and Shaggy are characters we love. Now we will live from a point of a deeper and more satisfying view, which makes them love even more ". (HANDLE).
