Nick Cannon, former host of "America Has Talent" and Mariah Carey's ex, was fired from the same comedy show "Wild 'N Out" after making antisemitic remarks, the Mirror website reports.

The layoffs took place last Monday, after the 39-year-old rapper spoke with rapper "Professor Griff" on his June 30 "Cannon's Class" podcast. The rapper, whose real name is Richard Griffin, claimed to have left rapper Public Anime after speaking out in 1989 about Jews, and talking about Jews dominating the media. He then said to Canon, "I am hated right now because I told the truth," and Nick replied, "You are telling the facts." Later a canon is heard saying "you can not be antisemitic when we are actually the heavenly people", and "we are actually the people they want to be. We are the real Hebrews ... this is our prerogative. The real Israelites are black. Why is it such a problem to tell the truth? ".

Last Monday, Canon's employers, ViacomCBS, for whom he has worked for the past 20 years, commented on this statement and created and directed the program 'Wild' N Out ': "Although we support continuing education and dialogue in our war against people who refuse to accept the opinions of others "We are deeply disturbed that Nick has failed to notice or apologize for perpetuating anti-Semitism in his remarks, so we end our relationship with him."

Nick declined to apologize for his remarks, referring to a storm on his Facebook page: "Everyone who knows me knows I have no hatred or malicious intent. I am not willing to forgive hate speech or its spread. We live in a time that is more important now than ever, To promote unity and understanding. "

Despite this, Petro's decision prompted him to upload a new post on Facebook: "Truth and Reconciliation," Canon began the post, "I am very sad that in such moments, so close to reconciliation, influential people took advantage of important moments for us to get closer to each other and learn more about The other. I will not let any group or organization abuse me, silence me or continue to oppress me. I am disappointed that Viacom are unable to understand or respect the power of the black community ...

"I do not have to defend myself, the proof is in history. I believed the corporation had become more advanced and wanted to create a dialogue in these difficult and uncertain times of 2020. Instead, they chose to boycott any advertisement that supports George Floyd and Bryona Taylor, for which we still demand justice. I also tried to contact Mrs. Sherry Redstone, the owner of Viacom, to talk to her and try to reconcile with her and apologize if I said something that hurt her or her community, but on the other side there was only silence. So I realized they were not really interested in dialogue, but to put the 'Negro "The young man 'in his place. They wanted to show me who the boss was, to dry me up and make me an example of someone who says something they disagree with."

He went on to say: "Viacom's goal of preventing me from supporting my family will be thwarted. They can try to kick me while I'm on my knees or force me to kiss the feet of the gentlemen in public to embarrass me and make fun of me, but instead I stand up with my fists in the air and repeat the mantra: "You can't fire a boss."

Surprisingly, Canon wrote that he received support from the Jewish community: "In the pleasant turn of events, the great blessing for this painful injury is the love and support that the Jewish community showered on me. It was wonderful. I talked to quite a few rabbis, professors and colleagues who offered their help. "My Jewish brothers and sisters for putting them in this painful situation, which I never intended, but I know that the whole situation hurt many and together we will rectify the situation. I devoted my two days to continuing the dialogue to bring the Jewish and African-American community closer."

In addition, Canon came under fire for further statements on the same broadcast, in which he declared that white people "are closer to living, they are actually the real savages."
