Almost a year and three months after the tragedy that affected Notre-Dame-de-Paris cathedral, a fire broke out in Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul cathedral in Nantes on Saturday. Circumscribed quickly by the hundred firefighters on site, the fire mainly affected the large organ of the building.
According to the public prosecutor of Nantes, the criminal track is privileged whereas three starts of fire were counted in the building. Several French political figures had reacted in the morning, like Prime Minister Jean Castex, who indicated that he would visit the scene in the afternoon.
