(ANSA) - STROMBOLI, JULY 19 - Two strong explosions, warned distinctly by the population, today at dawn on the Stromboli volcano. This was announced by Ingv, which recorded the strong intensity, characterized by the launch of incandescent lapilli, of the so-called Strombolian activity. The pyroplastic material ended up on the whole crater terrace and along the fire area, without causing damage. From a seismic point of view a short sequence of explosive events and an increase in the amplitude of the tremor. The two explosives were less intense than that of 3 July a year ago which caused the death of a hiker who was climbing the slope of Ginostra, the village of Stromboli reachable only by sea.
