One of the side effects of corona virus is isolation. Those 14 days we were forced to stay home with no one by our side. The root of the word isolation, is of course lonely. One of the hardest feelings a person can feel.

Some would say that home insulation is accompanied by technological aids that make the feeling easier, but sometimes it is not enough, and the question arises as to what is the secret to ending it with a sense of satisfaction.

Isolation has become one of the real threats of the period, there are even those who report a greater sense of stress from the possibility of isolation than the disease itself. People who have been in isolation say that after receiving the news that they have been with a verified patient, or God forbid that they are positive for the virus, there is a certain process they are experiencing. First the shock, then the fear and anxiety that floods the body, and later the rage, stress, tension or other feeling of anxiety, when at the end there is an understanding and containment of the situation and a question of what to do now.

In a state of isolation or closure, which is a state of helplessness, it is necessary to regain the control taken from us, and at the same time deal with the pressure that affects the brain, nervous system, blood pressure, and hence directly on the whole body.

Studies show that one of the most significant solutions to deal with these feelings is sports. Exercise produces endorphins - the same chemicals in the brain that act as natural painkillers, help with daily coping, improve the ability to sleep and thus help us cope and lead a calmer lifestyle even in the stressful routine of isolation.

Stress-relieving training

If you feel good and have time at home, give yourself a gift and exercise. Our recommendation is to opt for high-pulse training (as long as there is no health limit and it is performed under the supervision of a guide and even through the zoom).

30 minutes of intense activity is enough to feel great, they lower the tension and also on the way increase the caloric expenditure that is usually required when we are closed near the refrigerator.

Three exercises you can incorporate into your daily workout that help raise your heart rate and release your thoughts:

1. Running in place with punches forward for a minute, a 20-second break and back 3 times. (The count helps to empty the thoughts and the pulse rises quickly)

2. High jump in the air and stretching of the hands towards the ceiling 15 times, pause for 30 seconds and repeat 3 times.

3. Common strength exercises in a row - push up, squat and abdominal raises.

Perform 10 repetitions of each exercise at high speed non-stop and repeat 3 times.

Improve training

If you are not alone in home insulation, invite a spouse to practice with you. Add games and small competitions between you, the advantage of small or large group training is to create dynamism, interest and fun.

Music is one of the most important tools for creating a stimulating atmosphere for training and a good mood. Choosing the right playlist can affect your training pace. Choose especially stimulating music like dance, trance and cool mixes that will make you want to not stop moving.

The psychological side - this aspect of isolation definitely requires a lot of inner work. Work on your head and

remember that it all starts from there, practice positive thinking and when a negative thought comes take deep breaths and remember that there is nothing more important than health.
