Matzneff affair: Consent, the book by Vanessa Springora, soon to be adapted for cinema

Producers Carole Lambert ( Rupture pour tous ) and Marc Missonnier ( Knock, Django, Bienvenue à Marly-Gomont ) will produce an adaptation of the book published by Grasset in January. The production will be entrusted to Vanessa Filho, selected in the Un Certain Regard section of Cannes in 2018 for Gueule d'ange . Filming is scheduled for 2021.

The Consent goes back to the affair that Vanessa Springora had with Gabriel Matzneff, then almost 50 years old when she was still a minor. The novelist tells the story of the triple influence exercised by the author of Les Carnets Noirs : sexual, literary and psychic.
