(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 31 - The new iPhones, expected in the autumn, will arrive in stores later than usual. After months of rumors, Apple's chief financial officer, Luca Maestri, confirmed this during the presentation of the company's quarterly results.
"Last year we started selling iPhones in September. This year we expect the supply to be available a few weeks later," said Maestri.
The manager did not provide reasons. According to rumors circulated in recent months, the postponement of the iPhone 12 launch would depend in part on delays in device development caused by the coronavirus pandemic and consequent lockdowns. (HANDLE).
