The Ministry of Health this evening (Saturday) published new data on the outbreak of the corona in Israel, and according to the ministry's announcement, 527 people have been diagnosed with the virus since midnight. However, it should be noted that due to the Sabbath, few tests were performed in the last day, and the percentage of positive tests remained high - 8.1%.

In addition, according to data from the Ministry of Health, since midnight six people have died as a result of the disease, and during the weekend - 14. The death toll since the outbreak of the plague stands at 523 people.

In addition, the number of active patients now stands at 26,542 people, with 45,098 recovering so far, however the Ministry of Health emphasizes that the reason for the significant increase in the number of recovering patients is a change in the way the disease is calculated. 

The corona wards are still full

The corona wards at Hadassah Ein Kerem, Suarsky (Ichilov) and Shaare Zedek are still over 100, but there is a decrease in the number of patients, while at Hadassah Ein Kerem, for example, the corona ward is 168 percent, down 12 percent from last week. , So it stood at 180 percent.

The cities of Bnei Brak, Modi'in Illit and Elad continue to be the largest centers of infection, but it should be noted that there is a significant decrease in infection outside the areas of spread.
