Hospitalized child 14 days with Covid

(ANSA) - PERUGIA, AUG 01 - A 14-day-old boy is stator hospitalized in Perugia after being found positive at Covid. It does not present any particular symptoms, according to what ANSA has learned from Santa Maria dellaMisericordia.
    The mother is found with the baby, who is also alcoronavirus positive but asymptomatic. Both are in solitary confinement.
    Mother and son, originally from a non-European country, were transferred to Perugia from Terni.
    Among the other six last figures, a young woman tested positive after a swab performed by the Spoleto district of the USL 2.
   From the epidemiological investigation it emerged that she had returned after a few days to the sea.
    The other three cases were ascertained in the municipality of Passignano sul Trasimeno where a positivity had already emerged yesterday (all are in absentia isolation). The Municipality has therefore disposed of "until the completion and outcome of the citizens' swabs (29 - ed) currently in home-trust isolation and, in any case, until August 16," the suspension "with immediate effect, both inside and outside public activities , events of any nature that can create gatherings, including private parties and ceremonies and musical entertainment ". It also recommends managers of all activities to "strengthen the controls of the internal and external divigilance of the same in order to avoid the formation of gatherings, even in small numbers".
